The latrine has gotten some work since the previous reviews. I didn't have any issues with it whatsoever. My only problem with the site was the lake itself. Even 100 yards from shore, the water is still murky with organic matter. Your water filter will get a workout, and you'll still be drinking tea-colored water. Heed the warnings about the rocks. The lake stays shallow quite a ways out from shore.

This is a very nice secluded site on a beautiful lake with excellent bass fishing. The kitchen area is very open to the lake providing good views of sunsets over the lake. Being open it is also subject to wind coming from the west. There are two landings, both very good making it easy to step in and out of the boat. The camp site extends across the shore providing two main areas for tents. There are two tent pads next to the kitchen area and several more about 100 feet south into the trees. The area south of the kitchen has more trees, offers better protection from wind and plenty of places to hang food. The latrine is a bit loose, it will rock forward, but otherwise typical for this area. We found this to be an excellent spot to base camp for exploring the area around Crab, Little Crab, Cummings, etc. If we got skunked on the other lakes during a day trip we could count on being able to catch a few large mouth on Lunetta for dinner.

A couple of decent landings (depending which way the wind is blowing) Large fire grate area with excellent log seating. Some average tent pads near the fire grate but, some better ones in the nice grove of red pines just out of camp. Good views of the lake. Latrine needs some TLC.

Considering that this is on a small, practically dead-end lake, the site was very nice. The main feature of the site is seclusion. The landing is decent - fairly easy in and out. The kitchen is very open - no shade and very breezy. There are trees for clotheslines and hammocks, but no hanging trees. I had to be inventive with our food pack to get it off the ground. The swimming area was horrible. The water is murky, hiding all of the rocks that are just below the surface. There is one tent pad by the kitchen. The rest are back in the pines (where shade is available). The latrine was uncomfortable at best. When we were there, a good-size tree had fallen right where you would normally put your feet, so I had to put my knees up by my ears.
