The canoe landing is at a small sandy beach area. The camping and tent area open but shaded and covered in pine needles. There are three tent pads, a couple are mostly flat, with the flat parts sized for smaller tents. The lake view is obscured by trees, but not brush. The fire grate are is nicely situated to have a tarp over the sitting area without require the tarp be directly over the fire pit. The transition from the shore to the camping area is steep, but there are rock "steps" for climbing. Aside from the steep entry to the camping area, it is a great site.

There is a sandy beach/landing. It is a very steep climb up to the site. The campsite is nestled in an open pine forest. There isn't much of a view of the lake from the campsite, but I found the site beautiful. Since the campsite is protected, there is no breeze, so it could be buggy at certain times of the year. There are only two good, level tent pads, but you can find slightly slanted places for as many tents as you want.
