Not an ideal spot for a larger tent but a great view of the lake. The actual pads are tucked back in what would surely be a bug-infested area but we stayed out nearer the rock outcropping and force-fit our tent into the one flat spot of grass and dirt. No place for hammocks either. Great aspect was eating and hanging out on the rock that juts into the lake, facing west.
