Nice campsite. Good grassy spot for two canoes. Steep eroded rocky trail to camp. Great sheltered tent sites. Post-burn, the area is filling in nicely with aspens. No firewood at site but plenty on nearby shores. Good place for tarp. Firepit unprotected from wind, needs a lot more rocks around it. Limited views, no sunrise or sunset. Destructive chipmunks and a persistent turtle trying to find a place to lay eggs. We liked the site and stayed 8 nights, and left a huge pile of firewood for the next group to enjoy.

Very clean and large campsite. Great canoe landing with storage for 2 canoes easy. Campsite is above the water quite a bit with access down in multiple places around camp. Walleye and smallies caught daily from camp. Great fishing/diving rock off N end of camp. Only traffic by was canoers looking for this site, and groups heading to the rapids into Seagull. not able to see portage from campsite. Thunderbox has a lid and is on a hill behind camp with a great view. Beware the snapper that lives on shore, almost lost a full stringer to him!
