This classically nice campsite features a broad sloping rock visible from the river entrance at the end of the lake. It obviously gets overused and doesn't see much privacy from groups heading to Devil's Cascade, but it's a classically nice site that is the best on the lake.

Great site! Plenty of tent sites. Good fishing off the point. The firepit has a beautiful view. Only gripe...pretty muddy water, maybe just situational while we were here. Oh, and there was a giant paper wasp nest in the trees by the tent sites on the western shore.

Wonderful sprawling site with everything - views from the kitchen, sunning rocks, jumping/swimming rocks, fishing point, an open space for a single tent above the kitchen, and loads of tent/hammock sites amongst the pines near the water - sun when you want it, shade when you don't. Only downside I could find was a lack of firewood!

Loved this site! Definitely the best site on the lake. The best tent pad is right behind/above the kitchen area. There is a great hammock option just east of this tent pad. More hammock/tent pad options down a small hill/path west of the kitchen area in a pine needle carpeted spot near the water. Fantastic view over the lake. Nice grassy area on the edge of camp that is perfect for star gazing. No tarp hanging options for over the kitchen. Kind of a long walk to the latrine--and watch out for tree roots on this path. After slapping the wine bag a couple of times, they become quite the tripping hazard :)

Nice campsite for day before exit. About 2-3 hours to Little Indian Sioux (#14). Kitchen area faces south for a great view. Multiple tent pads to the west in the trees below the kitchen. No good trees for tarping over the kitchen, but a nice "dugout" area just behind it.
