This was an amazing site. Had a tough place to pull the canoes up, but besides that it has a great open rock area for jumping in water and relaxing. The best view of the sunrise, excellent campfire area and amazing amount of space to layout and relax.

Good open site. Water was very low during our trip which made the canoe landing difficult (earlier review gave high rating for this). Other than that this site is solid and close to the mid-lake islands where good fishing can be found. Many good spots for hammocks/tree tents on the south end of camp. Both nights we heard "whooo....whoop!" a few times from a nearby elusive sasquatch.

After battling the wind crossing Alpine (We'd come up from Ogish) and nearly capsizing, we decided to stop here for a couple nights. The nice landing the other entry speaks about is located on the north side of this little point. It's a beautiful sandy beach...a rare fine in the BDubs. The kitchen area is niceand open to the east. There is shade in the afternoon.

This is a very nice site with good canoe landings and flat tent pads, but lacks much tree cover. It's open and breezy and had few bugs when we were there, but the lack of shade was noticed on a hot, sunny afternoon.
