Stayed a few nights in winter, but could tell it was a very sloped site. If the wind is coming at all from the west, south, or north this site could get pretty hairy. That said, the views at sunset from this site are incredible.

Very small campsite with difficult landing. One tent pad up the slope on the way to latrine. Other is in the cedar roots in a depression which could become wet with rain. Nice rocks ledges for living room right on the lake. Easy to get windbound. Island was burned with very view trees in the campsite left. Lots of firewood. Great hike on top of the island with tons of blueberries and great 360 degree views. We stayed there with small groups and enjoyed it as a jumping off spot for daytripping.
