A sold campsite with a very nice landing. Hung my hammock over the rocks on the south side giving a beautiful view down the lake. Site is a little exposed, but it wouldn't deter us from returning. Lots of depth behind the site with additional views from higher rocks. A few smallies from the lower rocks on the east side, nothing special. Camp furniture was minimal, but plenty of seating on the rocks with great views. Also had the newest style toilet. Definitely secluded, yet close to the action and portages. I'd rate 3.5 stars

Seagull Outfitter towed us to the end of 3 mile island. From there we headed out to the big lake and scouted the northwest campsites only to find that 12 of them were being used (never seen so many folks out). We moved on and found 452 vacant and decided it was our best option. It wasn't a horrible site, but it lacks views of the lake and you can tell it doesn't get used often. We did catch a few smallies from shore. The tent pads had a slight slope to them. I wouldn't recommend this site as a first option, but it will do.
