Nice site in a high traffic area. Several nice level tent pads and a great firepit. Two separate groups stopped at the site and used it as a rest stop. One couple even pulled out their stove and continued to cook their lunch as they sat in camp, while I was there. It didn't bother me because I was on a solo trip and enjoyed the company but thought it was odd how they never asked or thought anything of it. They were from Iowa, so I guess it makes some sense :)

Pretty nice site here. Good rock ledge leading up to camp. Nice fire pit and tent pads with plenty of space in between. The island in front of the site is kind of an eye sore because all of the trees on it are dead, however, there is a bald eagle's nest in one of the highest remaining trees. Called this site "Fishsticks."

Nice site. Great fire pit. The view looking out is not impressive. Also, when we arrived we noticed turtle eggs in the water near the shore. That evening we were visited by a large, prehistoric looking snapping turtle with huge claws. Perhaps it was it's den?? We did not feel comfortable swimming after that so we only stayed the one night and packed up in the morning.

Nice easy landing can easily accommodate 2 canoes at once. Large sloped rock slab almost looked like a natural boat ramp, pretty cool. The fire hearth is at ground level, not elevated. This area appears to see heavy traffic, as expected. Many trails wind throughout the woods in this area. There were at least 4 or 5 obvious tent pads that we saw, most of them had some minor rocky intrusions you'll have to deal with. Very pretty view. The island across the way blocks some of the wind, and makes for calmer waters here.
