Nice elevated site here with excellent views to the south, you can also see the palisades to the north. 2 good tent pads with room for 1-2 more if you're in a pinch. Didn't have much luck fishing around camp. Water levels were very high, so shore fishing and canoe landings were a bit more tricky, but still manageable. With lower levels I think this site would have excellent canoe landings as well as shore fishing opportunities. Called this site "Fourplay."

Amazing views and lots of room. Landing is rocky but with easy canoe storage below the elevated campsite. Trails lead to excellent views from the north side of the island.

This site is on its own island. Site is elevated 20-25 feet from lake level. Shoreline is clear to west/southwest with a great view. South shore of the camp site is best for landing canoes and hauling gear. A shore-side "canoe garage" is formed by several juniper trees and provides shade and shelter in that area for gear if desired. Mature (large!) pines abound in the main campsite area. Several are spaced well for hammocking. The tent pads are a bit secluded by trees from the view. The fire grate has been enhanced by a rock-built wind break and a large flat rock serves as a small table fireside. The latrine is well back in the wooded area of the island. Abundant deadfall for firewood. We stayed two nights here and loved it. This appears to be a high-demand campsite.

Elevated site with mature white pines. Tricky climbing up to the site with gear but a great spot whn you are set up. Decent shore fishing and and a nice view of mostly non fire damaged forests to the SW-W. Lakers between camp the the big island directly west.
