All of the sites on Peter are recovering from the large Cavity and Ham lake fires. Vegetation has regrown to 10 feet tall with lots of aspen, birch, and small pine and spruce. This is the second best site on the lake. It is low to the water but with some rock seating and cooking areas. Several reasonable spots for tents. Does not see much use. No suitable location for hanging a food pack away from bears. Not a spot for hammock camping.

Not maintained at all. Unusable. Emergency use only.
Slopped tent pads, overgrown, trash and weeds growing in the fire pit, graffiti with arrow to go to the other campsite on the point.

2 reasonably decent landings. A large open site with no trees out away from the lake. In time, this site should improve.

Devastated by cavity lake fire. Still recovering. Unless you like very exposed, recent fire sites avoid this one. This one is the only site on peter, however, that has a few live shrubs to shelter from sun and wind.
