The kek runs right through this site. It is huge and wide open. I could see this being a great site before the burn. Now? Not so much. There is a fairly easy walk back to Honker though that is worth your time.

Reasonably decent landing. Sloping rock slab site. Not many large trees, limiting tarp & hammock options. Although there is PLENTY of premium firewood. Adequate fire grate area. Has a couple of decent tent pads. Site is very grassy & doesn't appear to get much use. Kekekabic Hiking Trail runs right through camp, providing awesome exploration options. On our visit there were large clusters of pink lady slippers in bloom just behind the fire grate area.

Right on the Kekekabic trail. Nice grill and log. Adequate for one night as the other was occupied. Partly burned over. Very open, setting up a tarp would be challenging.
