Thank goodness this campsite was here! Pretty good site with easily 2 to 3 tent pads and good ones. Right at the beginning of the portage. We had to pass by the previously full campsite and it would have been a long haul to the next campsite. Smaller open area to the river so bugs were worse here for sure. We got in the tents when it got close to dark. I did catch some nice walleye at the Eddy line on the other end of the portage. We had walleye for dinner here!
