The northwest takeout is in a small bay on the north side of the island. The tent spots near the firepit are sheltered from a south or east wind. Alternatively there are takeouts and tent spots on the east side if you need shelter from a north wind. There is also a tent spot on top of a rise with great views. 4.5 stars

On the east wing of the "Y" island are at least two sites - one at bottom of cove and one to south point of east wing. Both are good - the cove one being 3.5 to 4 stars, and the eastern most 2.5 to 3 stars. September 2012
