The main part of the site is mostly rock. The landing is a rock shelf and fairly easy to use. Nice view. It would be very nice with a west wind. One good tent pad is by the fire grate. There is another tenting area down a trail to the back.

Tent pads were very uneven and rocky. You had to climb quite a ways to get to the biff. Site had a good view and a 1/2 foot jumping rock that dropped off straight into the water. I had to pitch my tent under the bear bag as the 3rd tent pad (and probably the flattest one) was under the only good bear tree.

nice open rock spot protected well in a west wind no sunsets because facing east but good star watching
