Very nice site and I believe the only site on island. We circumnavigated the Island to find the landing. Landing is to South Side about middle of Island. Not a bad landing but campsite is up on top of the Island so bit of a hike up. Very nice open site with some nice pines once up top. You can work out to the main lake point to the west side for some great views on the Shield. Very nice site with great views and decent airflow through the site in the warm summer months.

Stayed here in '03, '04, '05(2 trips), '06, '07, '08, and '11 as well. Great site with million dollar views. Poor landing.
