As the previous reviewer indicates, the site nearby is on an island. This peninsula (the location of this site on PP as of this writing - perhaps it will get moved) does not have a site, though we got out to stretch our legs and there is a nice view from the top of the hill. Again, no site here...

This is actually an island site not a penninsula. The tent pads are about 15 feet up with lots of trees, but open ground. We stayed here Aug 2011 and it was nice. Good small mouth fishing between the islands. Fairly open to wind though. Nice big fire pit. Two landing areas one on the south western tip and one just around to the south east. The island tip landing site is superior. No GPS coordinates taken.
