easy landing with flat ground and nice fire ring. being an island firewood is in short supply. Seems to have rebounded nicely from the fire mentioned in 2011.

Visit Date:

Visited this location in 2011. It is actually an island adjacent to a shallow marshy channel leading north to the portage with South Lake. The Island had burned over prior to our visit. It would suffice if necessary, but would be best as a lunch stop as it is presently.
