This was a beautiful campsite located high up above the water. The canoe landing is a tad rough, but everything else was wonderful. The camp kitchen is spacious enough for a group to sit around and enjoy and the biff is down a hill and tucked back and away. My guide group enjoyed this one.

Updated 9/17/2022: I stand by my original review after visiting it again when we passed through. The forest is coming back from all the burn when I was here 8 years ago. I like the elevated view and think it is worth putting up with the landing. I would have stayed here again, but the weather demanded that we get closer to our exit.
9/5/2014: This site is on a neat little bluff and is actually located right on the point just south of the dot on this map. It would easily be rated 5 stars for its fantastic view, if half the view wasn't overlooking the burn zone. As it is, if you sit facing NE like we did, you still have a great overlook and scenic view!

Not a bad campsite at all! Has a great view (even if a lot of it is burned) and a nice campfire.
The trek to the toilet is a bit far and can be muddy and the landing is a bit rough but overall it's still pretty good!

Landing is rocky, small and you'll want to carry your canoe up into the main camping area. Otherwise it's a nice open elevated site with lots of room for tents and tarps, hammocks etc.
