This is a heavily used, island site. The entire island is impacted by overuse, not what I would be looking for. Use the one to the west on the peninsula. Or one just north of it on the next peninsula.

Really nice little island, though it's in a high-traffic area. Need to hit the mainland for latrine work and wood-gathering.

Very flat and low site with a ton of open space and decent ground. Small, so don't expect any privacy. Great fishing if you're going for some deep trout or shallow bass.

Very nice site with great views and lots of tent pads but very well used and lacks wood and little privacy for latrine area.

This island campsite is getting stripped of its small vegetation and is dusty and dirty as a result. During our stop here in July 2006 the firepits were scattered and any log seats removed. Looked to me like park staff were trying to discourage its use.

Nice big site, the entire interior of the site is open. There was 2 fire rings here. The drawback is that the portage is on a high traffic area, and noise was an issue.
