Great site location between Sunday & Burke; nice tent pads and open 'common' area for fire and cooking. "Patio" on Burke is great for post canoe / fish cocktails...

Kids liked this site a lot - tons to do. Swim, climb the rock face/hills nearby, fish, play in the creek. The site is expansive and open with frontage on two lakes. The woods continue to be pretty open and walkable for quite a long ways. Gravel landing on the Burke side, rocks on Sunday. There is a portage right on the other side of the creek, but we only saw one group in our 48 hours here. One obvious & decent ten pad, others nearby are sloped. But an enterprising person could probably get several more tents on level, soft moss up the hill to the NE maybe 80-100 meters - the hill has several 'shelves' or ledges that are big enough for several tents and perfectly level. We did run into what may be bloodworms (very small - like thread diameter and under a cm in length) in the pool at the end of the creek. Found them right away and no harm done, and they were only in that one area so the kids avoided it. Non-issue, really. Both Sunday and Burke are interesting lakes with decent fishing and some nice topography.

This campsite is next to the Singing Brook portage trail, so it is convenient to both Sunday and Burke Lake, but not private. Apart from that, it's a nice site with beautiful views of both lakes through the trees. There's a big fire circle, good bear hangs, and one really nice shaded tent pad.
