The most heavily used Keats spot. Gives good reach to fish multiple rapids areas in both directions. Quality spot. Deep swimming holes too. Be wary of snapping turtles and lampreys as we came across both.

Excellent campsite. One very large, flat tent pad back in the trees. You can also place more tents closer to the fire pit. There are several more possible tent pads back in the woods. The landing was nice and easy. Excellent view of the west end of the lake. Some OK fishing right from the site as there is some fast water right by it. Steep drop off is good for swimming (and it is very deep right next to camp - I dropped my glasses in the water and had to go diving for them).

Paddled by this spot in 2001 but did not stop. I noted on my map that it looked like an excellent site.
