Nice island site with a mother-in-law suite with room for 1 out back, complete with a second kitchen with fire pit. We named this one Ant Hill. Had we stayed longer, I would’ve tried training them to portage my gear. On the bright side, there’s quite a bit of room to stretch with ample room for 3 canoes and 5 people. Plenty of good pooping logs in the woods. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes were extra nasty here.

Very nice fire ring/kitchen and accompanying view. However exposed if there's a wind. One tent site in the woods at the south end of the island, two closer to the fire ring. Old plastic tote back in the woods with saw and other odd gear that may have been left by rangers or who knows who many years ago. Also, a second small fire ring in the woods for your fish fry if it's too windy at the primary one. Smallmouth aplenty in the area!

I've stayed at this site on Woodside four times over the past 35 years. Good landing. Blowdown from a storm sometime around 2000 has made the original tent pads and fire pit unusable. Room for two tents on the northern corner of the island remain but these may be a bit exposed in a storm. Still, a cozy campsite offering a good view to most of the lake.
