I could find no trace of a campsite on either side of the peninsula. It may have been on the south side of the peninsula where there is a prominent rock. If it was here, it does not appear to be any longer. I found what may have been a cut log, but there is no fire grate. The site was severely burned in 2006, and the new growth has taken over.
