So here's where I find out if leaving the stars in the 'rating' section blank equals zero. I may have to go back and edit to give it a one.
It's not the world's worst campsite. I can point you to that one, and likely its runner-up too. Landing OK, and I caught a bass from shore. As of this writing (I was there this morning) the tent AND hammock options (I was packing both) are a Sophie's Choice of Widowmakers. In the end, I decided the Hammock was safer but there were still two (only two?! you ask!) dead trees that infected my dreams. One additional possible tent site is right along the shore, about 75 meters west of the firepit. Even it had potential to initiate payout of one's life insurance policy. Sleeping options aside, it's a small site, OK for a solo traveler and it's a nice little lake. So if you sleep standing up or hanging by your feet from a high branch - then this is a two star site.

Small site. Has one fairly flat tent pad, but has a small pine tree at north end of pad that leans at about a 20 degree angle that makes tent placement concerning. Many roots make it difficult to find comfortable sleeping pad placement for 2 people. There might be a better tent pad further up but it is pretty overgrown and appears to be the area many have used as a latrine, so not too appealing. Ok seating logs and firepit. Lots of trees down in site should provide firewood for a while. Many slugs when we were there. They climbed on everything we put down. The landing is pretty nice, but slippery in wet weather.
Very pretty lake.

Had lunch here on 6/11/13.Good landing in cove, and great log seating at the nice fireplace. One really lumpy, big pad near the fireplace. Back in a ways is a neat mossy pad that someone had recently crapped in.(!) I did not GPS the location, and am assuming that 1CZ is the location of the site I visited. (If you paddle the shore, you can't miss this site, but there is another site NE of here that had a tree down across the main area.) Polaris is a gem. The "falls" to the NE -- inflow from the no-name lake -- is worth a visit. SMB fishing was excellent, but none were over 16". --Goose
