As the first group to arrive at Missing Link in search of a campsite this day, we had our choice. The group settled on this middle site. It's a pretty nice one. There is a big open rock shelf near sort of up and adjacent to the site. We had arrived relatively early with plenty of time for lounging around and eating the berries around the site. I even enjoyed a well-earned nap on the rock! It was good we got through the portage early as multiple other groups crossed. First, a group of girl scouts came and took the northern site. We could hear them singing from there off and on throughout the afternoon. A middle-aged couple took the southern site. A couple other groups also crossed and either pushed on towards Round or over to Snipe since all sites were full on Missing Link. We had a massive rain storm come in which was a nice change (2021 was so dry.) After the rain, we were treated to a big double rainbow across the lake. This is a nice site, the only reason I kept it as low as a three is because the main campsite is pretty brushy. Would stay here again if the need arose.

Amazing site set a dozen feet on top of cliffs that are perfect for jumping off for swimming. There are lots of blueberry plants as well. Bar none the best site in the area, I will seek out this site again in the future.

A short climb leads to an elevated, though very exposed, fire grate area. (On our winter trip we chose to move the kitchen area back into the woods.) Further climbing up the rock knob affords a commanding view of the lake. Spacious site & there are several decent tent pads. Good trail to the latrine.
