This is a great site for a small group. It is a low, flat campsite and is close to the water for easy access. It has a large flat rock surface for canoe landing. The fire pit is next to the water with two natural rock benches. Nice view of the lake. Two nice tent pads.

Good rock slab takeout. Small site, with stone kitchen benches.

Stayed here night of 8/23/2012. As stated above: protected tent area, nice fire pit area. I would say "okay" landing. Good access to water, but limited views. (You can see the site northeast across the way.) 2 tent pads of about equal size and quality, both of which will probably hold water if it's rainy. Definitely a good option if the better site northeast is taken. Would not want to base-camp here. Think it might be buggy at times, but was not when we were there.
