Fire area built against a big slab of Shield, room for a decent sized group. Two tent pads are quite nice...gets harder for more. Folks with Hammocks would do well here. Shore fishing a bit limited. But scenic, and a really pretty lake. OK swimming options.

this is a very nice site.Site has multi levels with nice sitting rocks, you could fit more tents here but some would have to be setup in a depression, fine as long as it didn't rain to hard.Behind this site there are some huge pines that missed the loggers saws.

Didn't stay here, but got out to check it out while fishing that end of the lake. 4 of the huge pines were down, cracked or bent. It was raining at the time so between the trees and the overall dreariness of the day it didn't feel too inviting. The firepit is backed by a big rock face so it is protected somewhat. There's a fair amount of room and sitting rocks on the point.

Stayed here for a few nights during a spring rainstorm. Canoe landings are rocky. Nice rocky point for stargazing and relaxing. As others have said a few giant pines behind the site. Wonderful birdsongs too. Tent pads are well used.

We stayed two nights. Easy sheltered landing to the left of the site. Plenty of open space under the tree canopy with tent sheltered pads. Elevated fire pit and level rock ledge with great SW facing views. Plenty of average size SM bass in the bay to the NE of site.

Very nice site. Multiple tent pads, nice fire pit with benches. Great birding here in 2013. Huge pines and cedars just behind camp.
