This is campsite very high off the water. There is a rather long hill climb to reach it. It has great views of the lake in several directions but most of the views are partially blocked by trees. There is no good place to swim since there are high cliffs almost all the way around the campsite. It has an OK canoe landing in a small cove on the south side. Has big open fire pit area.

I was a Northern Tier Interpreter for 2 seasons and this is one of my favorite campsites. There are three features I love about it. 1) Lots of space good for big crews 2) Jumping cliff to the South West Corner of the site 3) The "shit plateau" is east from the campsite, across the canoe landing in the bay, and then up a few rocks. Great massive view of the lake to help you do your business.

Great site. Protected from the wind, elevated and easy landing for the canoe.

Easy level entry into a sheltered cove. Short path up to elevated site with great views. Only down side is no convenient hanging tree, but it is an island.
