Good site that has been abused some, probably by First Nation folks. Permanent bear pole down near the landing, two fire grills and a plywood board left by the fireplace, trash in the fireplace and the good seating logs strewn around. (I think they bring in folding chairs.) Site is in big old pines with lots of shade and it is high off the water on a spiny, rocky, shallow-soil area. There is not much of a view from anywhere in the core area and its a good hike up and down for water access. (I found nothing wrong with the landing.) One of the "good" tent pads had widow-maker near it when I was there. The other "good" one requires walking over or around a rocky spine when going to and from the fireplace area. Very close to the Beaverhouse landing if you're coming in late or leaving early. --Goose

Camped here June 2010. Nice campsite. The canoe landing is the only draw back here. The campsite offers plenty of room for 3-4 tents and nice view. Overall 3-4 stars.
