Group of 8 landed here after a long day battling headwinds coming from Brule. As noted in other reviews, landing is better on the Southeast side of the site. Fire grate location has an amazing Westward view of the lake with great sunset views. Exposed though with little shade. Depending on size of tents, two can fit in the area below the fire grate. There is also another pad just past it going to the latrine path. Plenty of spots for hammocks. Spacious site and we never felt like we were on top of each other. Overall a great site for any size group.

Good landing in the small bay just behind the site. Good log seating on an elevated firegrate that provides a commanding view of the lake. Nice peninsula fishing pier. Exposed site that is susceptible to winds as eveidenced by the 2 large downed jack pines in camp - which blocked access to one of the tent pads.

My first impression was not good, but the longer I stayed there, the more I liked the campsite. Do not try to land in front of the campsite - go around the peninsula to the back. It is a sandy landing in a weedy, shallow bay. It has a great view from the kitchen. The peninsula is rocky and rooty. Jack pines dominate the area. Two very large tent pads are below the kitchen near the landing. There is one more potential site on the peninsula, but it is very rocky, and you would not be able to put stakes in. Probably won't see many people.
