Unusual site. Elevated does not fully describe it...the fire pit is at least 30 feet above the water! So a long walk up & a long way to retrieve water. Canoe landings OK but not great. Fishing looks like it should be good, but we struck out. Swimming solid. Sunset view excellent. Two widowmakers - one that really looks deadly - are an issue as of this writing, and reduce the number of possible tents from one for each member of your 9-person crew to perhaps 3. Or several more if you don't like your tripping partners, and if they have no self-preservation instincts.

The site is a nice place to stay. Off the main lake with lots of solitude. The fire pit is a little bit of a trek up a hill away from the water. I would stay here again

Deb's Site. The site is located on top of the island and is up quite a way from the landing.
