By traditional measures, this is a 3-star site. However, if I am going to Omega as a solo or small group, this is my first choice on the lake. I loved the view, and I felt a sense of peace sitting there looking at the lake. The landing is really nice - a sandy/grassy shallow area with canoe storage. The site itself is high up with an excellent view of the lake. Grass and dandelions cover a "shelf" in front of the kitchen. The kitchen seating needs a little work. There is a giant, flat tent area in which you could fit at least two tents. This is really the only tenting area, but you could get inventive and fit a few more tents in other places.

A decent site with one real drawback- the latrine is in full view of the rest of camp. Good for a solo camper or for real close friends! We hung our tarp as a curtain. The best tent site was oddly sloped.

Nice little campsite. Good view from firegrate. Up a little climb with cliff at front of campsite. No good bear tree. Nice canoe landing. Husband caught large bass off point by canoe landing. Good drainage. Stayed through three days of rain.
