On point looking west. Great view from kitchen. Landing is on west side of peninsula, south of the kitchen. Large tent pads. Overall a very nice site. I absolutely loved the northern campsite for a solo or small group, but if you have a larger group, you will want this site.

Beautiful site with gorgeous views. Several tent pad areas. Kitchen/fire grate right at the top of a small bluff overlooking the lake to the West. Latrine easy to get to. The landing is a little tricky but other than that it's a fantastic site. I would stay here again.

Can't beat the view or the swimming/jumping. If we had caught a fish from shore, this would have been perfect. Still, 5*

Paddled over on a day trip but did not stay the night. Looks like a great spot for a large group that's relatively secluded but on an awesome lake. I'd suggest this site for a younger/larger group. Great point with a good swim spot/jumping rock.
I did use the can while I was there, kind of creepy having the rock face to your back but at least it's not too far from camp.

LOVED this site! May be my favorite site I've ever stayed at in the BWCA. First off, the view is just gorgeous from the kitchen area. You're on an elevated peninsula and can see down the fingerlings of the lake. Great sunset views. Kitchen area is a bit open, but there are still hammock options in other areas. 2-3 very nice, level tent pads. There were hardly any bugs at this site (all other sites we stayed at during the trip were just horrible for mosquitos). The landing is a small sandy beach which was nice for swimming and bathing. Deep water and good jumping rock in front of the kitchen. To top it all off, the latrine is situated perfectly to where the sun is shining on it in the morning, seat already warmed up before you get there :) There's about an 8ft cliff right by the latrine which works for hanging the food pack. If I really HAD to say anything negative about this site, it would be the large rock by the fire grate. Makes it a bit cramped right behind the grate, but it's not the end of the world. Other than that, this site was spectacular and I wish we would have stayed here more than one night.

Nice site. It was a lunch stop while fishing. Nice views from kitchen area. Looked like nice tent pads and plenty of trees for tarps or hammocks. I wish we would have spent the night at the site. It would have been beautiful sunset view.

Beautiful view at the fire pit. You can see into all fingers of the lake from here. Good jumping rock with deep water right off it. Very open site with enough breeze for less bug action.

Great site, though heavily used so it is a bit open with lots of paths in the woods. Deep water directly in front of campsite makes it easy to jump from the rocks for a swim. Difficult to find a bear pack tree, ended up using two ropes, one to get it up in the air and a second to pull it out over a ~8 foot ledge near the latrine.

Great site on a great lake. Plenty big (we had brought a large tent this trip). Only gripe would be that it's REALLY difficult to hang a bear bag - there is a tree near the cliffs to the right of the biffy a bit, not ideal but it's all we could find.
