The campsite is spread along a rock shelf about a 5 to 10 min paddle from the put-in/takeout to the parking lot. Two of the pads are set back in the woods. One pad is flat and the other is sloped slightly and covered in moss. A third pad sits out front on some grass just covering the Canadian Shield below it. You would have to deadman your tent if you stayed here. There is a fairly well developed stone fire pit be flat spaces for seating more than one or two might be challenging. There were a lot of ticks in the forested tent pads. Not a bad place for an overnight upon entry or before exiting the park.

We stayed here on our night before leaving Quetico. The tent locations are down some short paths and are very secluded. They are sheltered by thick vegetation, which I like. There is a nice fireplace as well. We had good luck fishing in the small bays surrounding this site.

Good takeout, tent spots are in a sheltered clearing back in the trees. There is an adjacent rock "beach". Busy location.
