Stayed here on our way out from Mack. The area we could find to pitch a tent was back in the pines on a bed of moss. Was not level, and could barely fit the tent. Had to forgo some of guy lines. Not much to the site itself--small area up on a sloped rock, evidence of an abandoned fire ring. Poor landing. Didn't help that we pulled up late in the rain, and left in the morning to misty skies.

Used as an emergency bivvy site during lightning/thunderstorm. Had an inviting landing that looked used before so made for it. Can get a tent or two nestled under the pines though a bit rolling however mossy and soft. Lots of trees for shelter. Very crude fire pit of rocks on rock ledge facing south shore. With a bit of work can be built up and improved. Not a bad place to spend a nigth. Good fishing for pike from shore and 20 minutes from Ross to Bitchu portage to southeast or Ross to Cullen portage to northwest.
