I had a consecutive month streak of spending at least one night in the BWCA every month going. November is always a tough month though. It was mid-work week, but I had the night off so I needed to find an easy spot for the night. I wanted a small lake since the big lakes weren't super iced-in yet. This one I took a semi-risky walk along the ice. It ended up being fine, but felt sketchy post-sunset on the walk in. I had a nice dinner over a campfire and made it in to work the next morning. Nice enough little site with a view from the grate.

Great campsite for hammocks. Kitchen has nice sloping view of lake. Good flat area at waterfront to get water/bring in canoe. As everything slopes to the lake it may not be ideal for camping, but it has plenty of space.

A decent sloping rock face landing that provides a nice platform to fish from shore as well. The entire site is noticeably sloping towards the lake however, there are a couple of tent pads where the incline isn't quite as severe. For the most part this is an open/airy site but, there are some sizable trees near the lake. Direct access to the BRT hiking trail which offers a nice overlook of Topper just to the east.

Small campsite on north side of lake. Nice rock slab sloping into the lake. The site also slopes toward the lake, making it tough for larger (3p and up) tents.
