I'm not picky about sites - anywhere that can hold our two-person tent in a stable way meets my requirements. I chose to backtrack a mile to site 583 rather than stay at this miserable site. The tiny exposed rock face that can't even adequately hold the fire grate has a small clearing that could probably hold a freestanding one-person tent in an emergency. The latrail is very short, with a latrine precariously leaning on some rocks just a little ways back. There are no other areas of the site that could even remotely be made to hold a tent.

Worst site I have ever seen. No trees, so nowhere to hang food or hammocks. One crappy tent pad out in the open. Nice view, but the unused fire grate has no benches. The only nice thing about this site is that it's full of blueberry bushes, but pick the berries on your way to somewhere better.

Completely bald, in amongst a lot of burn damage.
