This is a smaller but good site just west of the one on the point. I'm sure it is used by big groups that have to break into two sites to stay within the rules, and they use the site to the east as well.

We thought we had to "settle" for this site when we found the one we were hoping for was taken and this ended up being one of our favorites of the entire 10 day trip! Perfect landing area, protected from wind, GREAT hammock camping site and it even had a great big flat rock for us to hang a camp shower. Will definitely stay here, again.

I walked to this one from 35M. Good take-out and some flat ground back from the water. This is not a "last resort" site in my opinion (although that comment was from over 15 years ago so maybe ithas improved since then). It is quite decent but not nearly as good as its neighbour.

When I stayed here solo in '97, 35M on the point was taken, but I was not disappointed with this site. Firepit and tent area were OK at least for me and my small tent. [Short paddle to great SM fishing at N end of Ivy island.]

Bad fire pit and small campsite. Be careful of the low area to place the tent. Use this campsite as a last resort!
