Aimed for this site based on other reviews and it didn't disappoint; good level rock landing (slippery though), good level tent pad, lots of bear hang trees, lovely view of the lake, especially at sunset, interesting rock formations, perfect hammock trees...swimming was a bit sketchy because it was so slippery, but otherwise a lovely site.

Found this site coming north in a rainstorm - the cool island site was clearly taken and there was a rainbow over the rocks at the end of the peninsula. Well, let's give it a try.
It's a lovely site. Big rocks over the water, great views. Beautiful red pines. Easy in and out. Good tent pad. Nice fire ring but not near the water. Didn't pay attention 'cause there were two of us but at least 2 nice pads. Maybe more? Didn't check it out for swimming.
Probably not suitable for families with young children because there are big drops from the rocks to the water and gaps between the rocks.
We rate scenery high so I'm going to give this a 4 but others might give it a 3.
