Landing is in the corner by the swamp. There were moose and deer tracks in the soft clay by the landing. It is a hike up to the campsite - almost like a short portage. The site is high on a rock with a slightly obstructed view. The kitchen area is mostly a large flat rock. I am not sure how thick the soil is, so I do not know how well tent stakes will work. There is another lumpy, sloped tent pad. You could also put a tent right on the flat rock, but you won't be able to use stakes. I was hammocking, and there was one good hammock hang, but that is all I needed. I had checked out the three other sites east of this one before stopping, and this site is exactly what I needed for the night.

It's overall a decent site. The camp kitchen is pretty poor and the site backs up to a marsh which contributes to a mosquito presence in the campsite. It has a phenomenal BIFF though!

An interesting site, situated near some marshy waters. We were looking for a spot for our larger tent, and I think this site would have worked. However, I didn't see any obvious bear bag trees. Maybe the site changed a bit since the last comment? Or I overlooked something. We moved on in search of a better view and site.

Nice site. Canoe landing is a bit swampy but the actual site is about 100 feet up and away from the landing. Campsite is a bit above the lake so the view is nice, though the trees obstruct most of it. Hanging the food pack was easy and there were a few decent tent pads.

Reasonable canoe landing, then a relatively long walk up to the campsite. Nice view over the lake. Level tent sites a bit close to kitchen, but not too bad. Good site overall.
