I would give this site a little better review than unclepup did in 2005. The fire pit is on a rise, however, it must have been added onto. I thought the fire pit was plenty large. The canoe landing area was steep and rocky, but doable. We caught the two largest lake trout of the trip about 200 yards in front of this site. There are some petroglyphs a short paddle to the north-northwest. See site photos I have attached.

You could fit two tents together on this site, if close. Great for one tent. Seldom-used and clean. Fire pit on a small hill. Secluded.
