Nice campsite and very nice landing. I would say the best campsite on the lake. We only ate lunch here though. Not sure I'd choose to stop at this campsite though. Water out front was rocks and not overly deep. Really nice site but after swimming and eating lunch here I would have moved on. Had some nice tent areas. Campsite isn’t her though it is more around corner onto the point!

Great Camping site, big area and nice fire pit and cooking area, great fishing on the lake by the waterfalls , great open view of the lake and nice trails leading out back. Great Site over all. Will visit location on next go around.

Stayed here July 2009. Scenic open site with mature pines and soft duff. Dry-foot landing on east side. Very nice firepit and bench seating. Very few bugs. Blooming flowers between pit and south shore made views to south even better. Did have to bushwhack quite a ways to find firewood. Caught largemouth and smallmouth nearby. Very nice site to stop at mid-afternnoon instead of pushing to North Bay and fighting for whatever's left.

This is a beautiful campsite! Huge Red and White pines on small point. Level to gently rolling, grassy, nice southern exposure and good protection from north and west. Would give it 5 stars but site is not very large. Nice fire pit. Elevation about 5 feet above water level. Look for pink water lily as you enter this lake from portage to west.
