This campsite is beautiful and open with endless tarp and hammock options. Being open, it is fairly exposed to west and south winds. The pines offer great bear-bag options too. Also provides a nice staging area to bushwhack to Yodeler if you are inclined.
Edit: stayed here again in September 2021. Still pretty much the same!

open norway pine site with at least one good, big tent pad. seating area nice at this time. nice view, isolated and no widow makers.
if you follow the trail along the shore toward the creek and then up the creek you come to a huge beaver dam - 6 feet tall and 200 feet long. creates a large body of water.

Great site. Big trees create lots of open space. Lots of landing sites. Good hammock trees. Easy area for tarp set up if needed.

Quietest site on the lake. A variety of landing options, nice cooking area, and a fair amount of open space. The tent pads are pretty good and the site gets a nice breeze from the West. After a heavy rain, try fishing the inlet just to the north of the site for some nice sized walleyes.
