My one-word description of the site: gloomy. The landing was not obvious - it is small and covered by overhanging trees. I had to paddle slowly along the shore to find it. There is a trail from the landing up to a small campsite in a gloomy woods (at least that is how I felt). There are absolutely no views of the lake. It is completely surrounded by spruce and balsam. There would be no wind - which can be good or bad depending on the season.

Difficult to spot, no view of the water, quite a hike up a hill to the site. Decent protection from the wind.

Weird, weird campsite. The site is a trail back into the woods with tent pads and a camp kitchen out of view of the lake. I liked it better than our two previous night's sites though. There is a large, cut open clearing near the campsite. Interesting place and good to get away from the traffic from the lake itself.

This campsite was pretty strange, but I enjoyed it. It's fairly hidden but has a decent landing with canoe storage. There's a pretty steep path up to the site, which is cozy, but has nice features. Little to no view of the lake, as there are lots of trees, but it has a private and enclosed feel. Good seating area and flat tent pads. Would be great for a smaller group but gets a little crowded with more people.

Very hard to find. The entrance is a very steep uphill, so could be difficult for some campers. The mosquitoes were quite bad here. There was a moose bedding area about 200 feet to the east, and heard one walking right at us later that night...Slept uneasily.
