Nice island site with ample room for 4 people and 2 canoes…a few more behind the campsite on the back porch. It has a decent fire pit and kitchen with plenty of trees for cover, tarps and bear bags. There are several pooping logs far enough from camp as well. The mosquitoes were much less of an inconvenience, but that could also have been caused by a cold front that came through. The main drawback is the landing, which is not bad, but not 5-star worthy.

Awesome site! Nice fire pit with tent pads on South East corner of Island. Good landing with good access from campsite to water and lake. Whole middle area of the Island is open as well so campsite is huge. It was later in the day so we put our clothesline up in the middle area. I also hung my tarp out in this area since it was still wet from rainstorms 2 days prior and needed to be dried. Bugs were far less on the island as well and we were able to stay out later with the reduced bugs and even take some night photos of the stars. Really excellent in our opinion 5* campsite! Photo is from the middle part of island and not the main campsite.
I would definitely make this a priority site if staying on middle Agnes.

Great site for 2 to 4. Great kitchen with view and 3 log seating. Good swimming, easily tarped, super LT fishing and several bear hangs. I've stayed here 4 times and have never been disappointed. Negative is its small size > limited space to store canoes. 1 tent pad near kitchen and a 2nd 25 yards away atop and small hill facing west.
