The landing looked inviting - nice cedar trees along the shore framing an easy landing and a climb up to the site. The trees only last about 10 feet, though. The site is just in a giant field being taken over by raspberries. I don't know if this was blowdown or a burn area. There are no standing trees other than the landing. The campsite is grass... for now. It will probably be taken over by the encroaching raspberries. The latrine has no cover, either. Anyone in the campsite OR anyone paddling by on the north side of the peninsula can see you squatting. I guess you have a great view from the latrine... Be careful with the ticks in the long grass. I found three on me from the short time I was there. All this being said, I have seen worse sites. This at least is a usable site.

Extremely overgrown. Looks like it hasn't been used in seasons. Didn't go looking for a latrine.
