Huge site. Landing is best from atop the falls. Good fishing. Not great swimming options.

Big site with good fishing on either side of the Dam. Lots of otters patrol the falls. Scared me to death once while swimming.

THIS COMMENT MOVED FROM 92 ON ADVISE FROM RandyKuhens. Site on north shore right at old dam. Good fire pit. Old cabin remains in grown over clearing. Lots of tent areas. Extensive open area under big Red and White pine forest. Most traffic goes on south side of May Island.

Site of the old Shelvin Clark logging operation and Tanner Lake ranger cabin. Very good site with enough room for up to 10 tents. A good site for Church groups or Scout troop. Site is adjacent to deep water formed by logging dam. In periods of high water one can put in and float the outlet below the log dam and bypass the Tanner rapid and portage.
