I agree with everything in the February 2023 review. The kitchen area is the highlight of the site, as it has tons of counter space and the solid rock back of the fire pit makes it easy to escape the smoke and cook from above/behind the fire if needed. The most optimal tent pad was not obvious to me at first because it looked like an area to walk through to get to the second (less good) tent pad. Very easy canoe landing and good rock entry for easily entering the water to swim. Was our favorite campsite of our week trip.

What an awesome site! Plenty of options for hanging tarps. Decent hammocking opportunities. One of the best fire grate areas for food prep, lots of counter space! Add on to that some great fishing in the bay right adjacent and decent fishing right from the big rock. Great sky visibility for starwatching and sunrises. Just across the little bay from the Heritage portage for some fun day trip opportunities.

Great site! Awesome rock slab where we watched the meteor shower this summer, amazing. Great rock kitchen area with a ton of great pines. Solid fishing off the slab landing. Nice protected tent pads and great places to string up a tarp. Escaped a stormy, rainy, windy day under the tarp and relaxed on this beautiful site.

Really neat fireplace and fantastic stargazing opportunities on the rock slab driveway. The site itself is small and would have a hard time fitting more than 2 tents.
