stopped here while fishing. Time has not improved this site since dentondoc's eval. The only fire ring I found was out on the open area & to get to the tent site had to push through brush/trees (bring your saw to open a path). Absolute wind protection; almost certainly very buggy; flat tent site; use only if desperate.

This site is tucked back into the woods just a bit. This is a positive if you are wanting wind protection, but under the right conditions, this would be REALLY buggy. Some of the site had some deadfall, so getting a second tent on this site might involve a little clearing. Fair fire ring. We were tipped to the site's location by a second (minimal) fire ring on a rocky point in front of the site.
